Following The Teachings Of Jesus Christ

Pastor Jeff Robie

Pastor Jeff Robie graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in May of 2012 with a Masters of Divinity degree.  He is also a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, 1978 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in English writing.  Pastor Robie led worship at several churches as a supply preacher, including a recent 18 month stretch at the North Deering Congregational Church in Portland, ME.  Before that, while a seminary student, he led a Sunday Night worship service for 21 months at the Newton, N.H. campus of the First Congregational Church of Kingston, N.H.  Pastor Robie, along with his wife Julie, has led mission service opportunities within the community of Kingston, short term mission trips for Hurricane Katrina relief to Mississippi, to Mexico, and to Ghana, West Africa.  Currently, Julie and Pastor Robie serve in a voluntary capacity as Northeast directors of the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation, a Christian based NGO which seeks to restore broken relationships between warring tribes in Africa, estranged relationships between various people groups in the United States, and troubled relationships within churches.  Pastor Robie believes his call to ministry is “to honor and glorify God by leading, equipping and discipling a multigenerational congregation through Christ centered worship, service, and outreach.”  He adds that his call also, “has a strong mission component to it.”  Julie and Jeff have been married for 35 years and live in Kingston, N.H., where Jeff grew up; Julie grew up next door, in Newton, N.H.  They have two adult children, Jessie, who is currently teaching English in South Korea, and Josh, who is married to their daughter-in-law, Heather.  Josh and Heather live in Raymond, N.H. and have a 1 ½ year old daughter, Penelope Mae, whom Julie cares for three days a week.
